I’m hesitant to say I’m multifaceted, but “hopelessly decentralized” might work.  Maybe even “scattered.”  Most of the year I adjunct in the English Department of a small state college in western New York state.  During the nicer months I also work for a landscaping company.  Some days I lead discussions of early British Literature and explain the intricacies of the semi-colon.  Other days I pull weeds, move topsoil, and operate a skid-steer.

When I am not working we have two young boys to raise and a house that always needs something repaired.  I run ultramarathons, dabble in woodworking, would rather sleep in a tent than a hotel, and read when the mood is right.  Writing is another release, but the one I do the least.

And that’s why we’re here: I need a place to put what I create.  I have deeply felt urges to write, build, and forge new things.  The hope is that this website will keep me churning out new works and help centralize my varied hobbies.  If you need to get ahold of me, please click here.
